
Last year was the first time there had been a "best place to work" type of survey for technology solution providers. The exciting 2010 Survey, sponsored by Microsoft and administered in two parts (Spring and Fall), included over 30 organizations in three countries.
The United States winners were Davenport Group of Minnesota and Network Technology Solutions (‘NTS’) of Florida. The Canadian winner was Xylotek Solutions of Ontario.

The 2010 Best Tech Workplaces Survey was open to technology solution providers worldwide - the winners achieved the best overall scores.
It was confidential, online, and included:
- 58 general diagnostic questions
- 3 open-ended questions
- 8 demographic questions
- And up to 5 customized questions
Most questions were answered on a 1-5 scale. All participants agreed the survey was a unique opportunity to better understand how to engage their employees and compare their organization to others in the industry.
In addition to the winners, ten companies earned an average score of 4.0 or more to earn a Best Tech Workplace Certification.
